Katerina is a Greek visual artist and writer based in the UK.
Her work has a poetic essence and is highly symbolic. She dives into the world of Surrealism whenever she feels the need to express her inner subconscious voice and uses the technique of automatism to materialise her thoughts and feelings whether it be in visual or written form.
Katerina’s work is influenced by literature, folklore and mythology whilst it also aims to explore the relationship between photography and writing, an element vital to the understanding of what she creates.
She is currently exploring and creating work relating to a dream like state infused by nostalgic memories through the use of different creative mediums.
