The Bliss Point is a concept in the food industry which talks about the optimal ratio between salt and sweet, that makes you want more of that specific food. Now, I know that sometimes it is hard to say no to manufactured products because of their high levels of deliciousness. But, what if you could trick yourself into eating something more healthy but at the same time something that reaches that perfect bliss point.
Ingredients:
-1 courgette
-2 carrots
-1 cup sweetcorn
-1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
-1 egg
-1/3 cup chopped parsley
- couple pinches of salt/pepper
- 1tsp chilli flakes
-pinch of garlic powder
-pinch of dried basil
For The Dip:
-greek yogurt
-dijon mustard
-olive oil

Today's recipe (courgette, sweetcorn and carrot fritters) is very simple because all you have to do is just place all your ingredients in a big bowl and mix them all together.
Grate your courgette and carrots, mix in the sweetcorn, breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, salt/pepper, chilli flakes, garlic powder and dried basil. Beat the egg and then pour it in the bowl with the rest of your ingredients. The egg will bring everything together but you could also avoid it if vegan and instead drizzle some olive oil. Actually, I think next time I make these fritters I might skip the egg and see what they are like without it.
Fritters are usually fried and that's something you could definitely do with these ones but I chose to cook mine in the oven at 180° for 25-30mins, as I am trying to avoid oily and fried foods.
For the dip, I just warmed up in a little pan 3tbsp of greek yogurt and 1tsbp of dijon mustard and 1/2tbsp of olive oil. It's a very easy and delicious dip and also really complements the fritters.
